Tactical Element is currently recruiting for full-time career Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Instructors.
Minimum Education Requirement:
Complete four-week (4) Basic Instructor Course (BIC)
*Provided by the Government during work hours.
Preferred Education (Not Required):
Associate in Science degree (preferably in the field of Health Sciences)
National Association of Emergency Medical Services Educator (NAEMSE) Level 1 Instructor
Special Skills/Qualifications Required:
Instructor must be able to use the following programs expertly enough to accomplish all of the required tasks without further training:
Microsoft Windows OS XP Pro
Minimal Background/Experience Required:
Possess a minimum of one (1) year as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or higher
Preferred Background/Experience (Not Required):
Prior military combat, operational, deployed experience and/or prior military experience in the Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) 4N0X1 (Aerospace Medical Service), or equivalent U.S. Army or U.S. Navy occupational code.
National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or higher; and
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) – Instructor; and
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Instructor; and
National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) – Instructor or
National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) – Instructor)
Security Clearance Required:
Must be eligible to pass the National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) IAW Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD 12).
