Tactical Operations Series: Basic Suturing

Basic Suturing is a four (4) hour program of instruction that provides the participant  an understanding of the basic suturing techniques for minor lacerations. in the tactical operations environment.

Continuing Education:
Tactical Element is a Board Approved Educational Provider (50-17997) for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Paramedic (PMD) training by the State of Florida Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.

Tactical Medical Operator (20-520523) awards 4.0 Continuing Education (CE) Hours through CE Broker, applicable to the EMT (NREMT), Advanced EMT (NRAEMT) and Paramedic (NRP) Refresher Requirements in accordance with Recertification Requirements as prescribed by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).

Cadre:
Instructors assigned to Tactical Operations Series courses are seasoned tactical law enforcement operator/medics, or tactical medics in direct support of tactical law enforcement and military operations, possessing verified and documented experience in the delivery of care in all three phases of Tactical Combat Casualty Care.

Instructor Training Jackets (ITJ) are maintained by Tactical Element and available for review.

1. Tactical Element programs-of-instruction are conducted in strict accordance with the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Guidelines as prescribed by the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC).
