Tactical Responder – Certified (TR-C) Review

Tactical Responder – Certified (TR-C) Review is a didactic program-of-instruction conducted by seasoned tactical operators Tactical Paramedic – Certified (TP-C) in preparation of sitting for the TR-C written examination.

The TR-C examination conducted through the International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSC), consists of 100 questions and the candidate is provided two (2) hours to complete the examination. The certification process is focused on the knowledge level of accomplished, tactical paramedics in hostile and austere environments. The questions on the examination are based in sound paramedicine and tactical principles. The candidate is expected to maintain a significant knowledge of current International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)/Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) standards.

The focus population for this exam includes military special operations paramedics and experienced law enforcement paramedics with extensive tactical experience.

Tactical Responder – Certified (TR-C) Review is an Approved Review Course by the International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSC) for the Tactical Responder – Certification (TR-C) examination.

Continuing Education:
Tactical Responder – Certified (TR-C) Review is a Board Approved Continuing Education (CE) Training Program (20-20-556092) for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Paramedic (PMD) re-certification by the State of Florida Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, and is applicable to the EMT, Advanced EMT and Paramedic Refresher Requirements in accordance with Recertification Requirements as prescribed by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) .

Cadre:
Instructors assigned to the Tactical Responder – Certified (TR-C) are seasoned tactical law enforcement operator/medics, or tactical medics in direct support of tactical law enforcement and military operations, possessing verified and documented experience in the delivery of care in all three phases of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC).

Instructor Training Jackets (ITJ) are maintained by Tactical Element and available for review.
