Tactical Element is currently recruiting for full-time career Special Operations Forces (SOF) Medical Instructor/Technical Writer/Training Developers.
Minimum Education Requirement:
Complete an approved Instructor Trainer Course (ITC) and Instructor Developer Course (IDC)
*May be provided by the Government during work hours.
Special Skills/Qualifications Required:
Instructor must be able to use the following programs expertly enough to accomplish all of the required tasks without further training:
Microsoft Windows OS XP Pro
Microsoft Word
Power Point
Excel
Minimal Background/Experience Required:
Possess at least one (1) year experience as a:
United States Army Special Operations Combat Medic (SOCM); or
United States Army Army Special Operations Forces Medical Sergeant (SOFMS), or
United States Navy Independent Duty Corpsman; or
Instructor in a United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) medical pipeline course
Possess a minimum of three (3) years as an emergency medical services (EMS) instructor
Certifications Required:
Option 1: United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Advanced Tactical Paramedic (ATP) and National Registry of Emergency Medical
Technicians (NREMT) Emergency Medical Technician (EMT); or
Option 2: National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Paramedic (NRP); and
American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Pediatric Education for Pre-Hospital Professionals (PEPP) Provider; and
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) – Instructor; and
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Instructor
Security Clearance Required:
Must be eligible to obtain a SECRET security clearance through the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA).
